IPTV Danger: Thousands of users begin to register IP addresses in the latest offensive against free football

The days of free football appear to be numbered, and those who insist on consuming illegal content through IPTV lists could face increasingly severe consequences, even more than a fine.

The war against services offering illegal IPTV lists and free football streaming continues unabated. Authorities and broadcasting rights owners are stepping up their efforts to put an end to these acts of piracy that seriously affect the sports industry.

So far, strategies have included shutting down vendor servers and implementing systems like Piracy Shield, which seeks to block access to unauthorized content in real time. But despite these efforts, the situation remains a persistent problem.

Faced with this reality, the authorities are preparing a new offensive against free football. Luigi De Siervo, CEO of the Italian Serie A, has issued a clear warning, mentioning that he will not sit idly by.

De Siervo has said that football is being "killed" and has highlighted the urgent need for a more effective response. According to his statements, the next strategy will include a more aggressive approach: the registration of IP addresses of users who consume such content.

The new strategy to end illegal IPTV lists and free football

The strategy of recording IP addresses means that authorities, as well as football league executives and broadcasting rights owners, can identify users accessing illegal content.

This method will allow not only to shut down the servers that provide access to all unauthorized channels, but also to take legal action against the consumers of these services.

De Siervo explained that this new offensive is based on the idea that by identifying and sanctioning end users, the demand for pirated content can be significantly reduced.

Implementing this strategy involves a complex process of data collection and analysis, as well as collaboration with Internet service providers to obtain the necessary information, so it is necessary to work together.

While this approach has generated some controversy, it is seen as a crucial measure to address the problem more directly with the aim of ending IPTV lists for good.
